Vehicle Overview

1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II (SRX-39073) ... Over the years this particular Silver Shadow II has the top color repainted in a color similar to its original (Acrylic White) ... Now finished in "Pearl White" over its original "Athenian Blue" & dark blue fine lines ... The paint and body work show quite well, but there are some minor blemishes to be expected ... The interior is very exciting and is "Surf blue" with navy blue parkertex inserts ... The interior shows quite well but a few blemishes can be seen on some areas of the wood trim ... This car was delivered new to Arabian prince who would enjoy the car until 1997 when it would be imported to the USA by a local Chicagoland RROC member ... It would remain sitting in the family collection/museum for 25 years, till 2022 when we obtained the car ... The car would only have traveled "35,000 miles" & only "32,000" miles when imported in 1997. While under our care the car would get an extensive hydraulic overhaul (new accumulators, rebuilt valves, pumps rebuilt, fluid tank cleaned, all 14 rubber lines replaced, & more) ... Also, a vast amount of backdated maintenance was performed (drive belts, spark plugs, & 4 tires fitted) ... We also rebuilt the carburetors, replaced the steering rack, & rebuilt the alternator (and more) ... Now after a series of tests this car runs and drives excellent ... After we insured ourselves, we had a solid running car we invested some more time into windows/door locks/electronics ... This car is now nicely sorted and enjoyable ... It was special ordered with some exciting extras besides the "parkertex inserts" such as a rare hiding compartment to rear armrest, rear writing tables (rarely seen in shadows), a fire extinguisher near drivers seating, country horns, and few others ... There are many silver shadows out there for sale, but this one not only has a neat series of extra options but has had some expensive service items taken care of making it an extreme value ... This car comes with a tool kit, handbook, extra key, & exciting documents from its ownership ...
